UCI World Championships have been and gone!
The UCI have announced the World Championships are coming to Scotland this year - and Stirling is playing a key part of this with the Time Trial being held here.

Stirling has been a fantastic venue for the Time Trial - such a buzz and noise throughout the whole course.
Club Rides and Events
The weekly Ride calendar is filling up on Spond - a wide range of rides on Road, Gravel and MTB are available.
- Weekly Chaingang is running - a 'new' route (trialled last year with great success) - now that the clocks have gone forward;
- Mid-week and weekend Gravel rides are on offer and getting a great attendance;
- Road rides have social rides of varying speeds at various times throughout the week and weekend;
- Away days for the Road groups are in the diary (Spond) for the summer months;
- The monthly Club Confined time trials start in April and run through until August;
- MTB have fortnightly social rides with some planned rides being added in the diary to help lead rides in the hills.
Loads of options no matter what kind of riding you prefer, so come and join us and add your name to the rides you fancy!

Stirling Bike Club is very much a female-friendly club. At the time of writing (Autumn 2016), we have approaching 40% female members from a total membership of over 400.
We have many women and girl members of all ages and from all cycling disciplines. Everyone is welcome; whether it is your first group ride as a beginner, you are a seasoned bike racer, or anywhere in between!
Our female members enjoy road, track, mountain biking, Cyclocross - even the odd bit of BMX. If you are a woman rider aged 18 or over and wish to take part in a club ride, there is no need to contact us in advance - feel free to turn up.
Riders under 18 should refer to our Under 18's participating in "all age" activities Policy; while still very welcome, they will need to bring along an adult chaperone.

As well as general club rides, we also have an active women's racing team. Anyone is welcome to join - all that is required is an interest in having a go at racing in any discipline!
We have a members-only section on the club forum for the women's race squad - contact Helen or Carole to gain access to this area if you would like to find out more about racing.

The main benefit of a Bronze membership is a provisional race licence for competing in certain events, 10% discount from Halfords (on everything!), 10% discount from chain reaction cycles and a whopping discount for Trainingpeaks to name but a few! Silver membership includes third party public liability insurance, legal advice and the opportunity to purchase a full Licence.

Stirling Bike Club endeavours to summarise the purposes for which your personal data will be processed (by the Club), when collecting your personal data from you for membership and purchases below.
