I hired a Ghost Nivolet (Cube available) last March from Moto & Bike in Playa Blanca. €20 for 24 hrs. Choice of alu (cheaper) or carbon and rim or disc brakes to choose from. Most have compact chainset and 28t cassette. Maps, pump, multi-tool, tube included in the price. They'll also fit spd/sl pedals if you haven't brought your own. I initially used the quiet Lz 701 to do a loop to El Golfo, Las Brenas. Nothing difficult apart from the never ending headwind
2 things to be aware of are the British tourists in hire cars and a fine pea like gravel usually on the corners when riding on the coast road back to P.B.
Also check out Papagayo bike hire as they do tours 3 days a week.

The new chief of police has stopped cyclists from using Femes as it has an adverse affect on traffic.

There are plenty alternatives depends how long u want to go.

Tabayesco is not an option if you are solo,
You will be beat up by the wind from the heading East from Blanca.

I always use Free Motion, who have excellent bikes, but they're in Puerto del Carmen. Their Tours page might give you some inspiration as to where to go. The Femes tour route includes Playa Blanca so might be worth a try. The Femes climb is short but very steep.

Tabayesco from LZ-1 is definitely worth doing, great views from the summit however it is at the north of the island so depends how long you have.
From Playa Blanca you can go on the LZ-03 coastal road then back into Timanfaya national park, some great scenery and decent climbs.
Doing that loop taking in La Santa, stopping through Teguise (old town not Costa) and through Tachiche is a beautiful route and takes in a lot of the IM Lanzarote course.
Afraid never hired a bike from P Blanca

Depends how long u want to cycle for?

If it’s a short one then there are a few roads round Yaiza and El Golfo.

If longer head up towards la Hoya and Las Brenas and back down to Playa Blanca.

The wind makes it tough and generally comes from the East .

Not sure re bike hire in Blanca. Enjoy 😉
