You've been finding this heat and sun a bit oppressive, haven't you? Well true to form, I'm bringing the refreshing rain back on Saturday for a pleasant change from this hot sweaty stuff.

The route is: Glen Road, Sheriffmuir, Auchterarder, Kinkell Bridge loop, Balloch (no not the one near Loch Lomond, the one behind Drummond Castle), Braco and back to Corrieries, for a total of 62 miles and 3500 feet of climbing. It's similar to a recent route but with a couple of tweaks to hopefully make it even better. Also the path through Kippenrait Glen (just after Glen Road) has been significantly widened and improved recently.

Full details here: ridewithgps.com/routes/30649739

Bring suitable clothing for some refreshing rain, food, drink, and all the stuff you need to fix a puncture (we've had plenty of those recently).

We'll ride at a nice steady pace that's comfortable for everyone, and no-one will get left behind. Unless you're on your 3rd puncture. And even then only if you insist.

See you at the Peak.
