The weather's looking fine for Sunday as long as you're wearing warm, waterproof clothing. My planned route is:
Torbrex, North Third, Carron Valley, Fintry, Kippen, Thornhill, Doune and back to Toast for 46.5 soggy but beautiful miles. That's a bit shorter than usual, but I'm sure will be plenty if it's as wet as forecast. Full details are here:
We'll ride at a steady middle group pace with no-one dropped or left to struggle.
I've seen a number of people struggling with the cold on recent wet rides, which is completely unnecessary. Dress to be too warm and once the rain soaks in you'll be the perfect temperature and able to enjoy a lovely sociable ride.
I will be at the Peak for 10am. Hopefully some of you will brave the rain and join me because I'm not going to wimp out even if I'm on my own.
