Thanks Graeme - appreciate it.

Looking at your time over the Pipe Track last week your legs seem fine ! :-)

Hi Alan, think I'll be out Sat. (baby stuff dependent!)
As per last week, depending on numbers, I'm happy if we need to split the tempo to take the faster half (following that route you've suggested).

longer term I'll look to get the fast group up and running again, if there's the appetite for it [but at the mo my legs aren't ready for that kind of abuse!]

Cheers,
Graeme

My turn to lead the Tempo Group this week. Note that it's a 9am start this week as we begin the Spring/Summer rides.

The current weather forecast is looking okay with an Easterly wind. The route will be :
Peak -> BofA -> Comrie -> Crieff -> Kinkell Bridge -> Dunning Glen -> Back via Coalsnaughton, Tullibody etc

That's 70 miles and about 3600ft of ascent. The route can be viewed here .

We'll go out and back as a group and if anyone is struggling we'll wait. We'll stick together except for the climb up Dunning where you're welcome to chase PRs. It's perhaps worth a gentle reminder that the speed range for Tempo is 17-19mph. Fast riders are encouraged to form a separate group to follow the route.

If you intend to leave the group along the way please let me know. Remember the usual food and fluids, appropriate clothing (it will be cool), spare tubes/CO2 and pump.

If anyone is aware of other impediments on the proposed route just post up.
