Thanks Ray for leading last week, following a mechanical, which I luckily discovered on Friday afternoon.
Weather actually looking OK-ish for Saturday: possibly some rain later in the afternoon, but we should be in Corrieri's by then. Temperatures pretty mild.
Going out to the east. Starting at the Peak - Cowie - Airth - Clackmanshire Bridge - Forestmill - a bit of a climb - Dollar via the Devon Rd - Tillicoultry - Maybe "The high road" - heading for Corrieri's, via the Hillfoots road. See:
for details. A total of 32 miles - 1270ft of descending.
Please bring the usual stuff with you, including at this time of the year, mudguards and given the temperature still some warm clothing, which may include overshoes and something to keep your heed warm.
If this is your first time out with us, please introduce yourself to me (tall - wearing orange Rabobank shirt) before 10, so I can talk you through the secrets of club riding with the Stirling Bike club.
Nobody left behind, not even the Ride Leader out for the first time in 2019!
See you Saturday,
