With freezing temperatures and a NW wind on Saturday we’ll go for a shorter ride than usual and wherever possible stick to main roads that will be gritted. From The Peak we’ll take a similar route to last week; Cambusbarron, Kirk Lane, Thornhill, Doune, Dunblane and Corrieri’s. It’s only about 28 miles but I think that will be far enough given the conditions. The route is at
Remember the usual essentials: spare tubes, pump, basic tools, mudguards, helmet, food, drink and your best cold weather gear.
