Given how mild it's due to be from tonight onwards I don't think there will be any problems with snow or ice on Saturday. However it will probably be a bit wet, so with that in mind my route is as follows:
Cambusbarron, Kippen, Fintry, Carron Valley, Denny, Throsk and Corrieries, which I think should be open again, for 50.5 miles.
See here for details:
if the rain ends up on the heavy side and it's a bit miserable, then we can head directly home from Carron Valley, for a shorter 40.3 mile route:
We'll ride at a nice steady pace that's comfortable for everyone so that no-one's left struggling and no-one gets left behind.
Bring warm, waterproof clothing, food, drink, everything you need to fix a puncture, and some sort of contactless payment method (or even some old fashioned cash) for Corrieries. And mudguards - proper ones.
See you at the Peak,
