Weather forecast for this weekend is looking pretty good at this stage, certainly better than it was forecast for last weekend. The hardy souls who headed out ended up enjoying some lovely autumn sunshine last Saturday.
The plan for this weekend is to head out from the Peak towards Cowie, Larbert, Dunipace up to Carron Valley, turn right at the Carron Valley in, down the long line into Whins of Milton, through Torbrex to Kings Park then up to Causewayhead Road to Corries. 31.8 miles all in with no steep hills.
As always bring your bike, helmet, something to eat and drink, and suitable clothing. We will keep the pace to suit all riders and no one gets dropped.
Finally, this Saturday is the 1st of November so I hope to see plenty of riders sporting the early stages of their Movember taches. No beards, and no cheating. This is a great cause so please, either grow one, or support someone who is. I've included a little inspiration from my tache a couple of years ago...
