Weather is suggesting it will be cloudy - rain later in the afternoon - www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/gcvpqq6kh#2019-10-05 - closest spot to Blairlogie apparently!

If Dumyat stays dry this weekend.....I might actually join you, if you don't mind.

Hi,

Staying local this weekend and heading up Dumyat. Everyone welcome but kids must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

To lessen the climb for the youngsters (honestly, it isn't for my benefit!!!), we will meet at the car park near the start of the Dumyat climb (if heading up from Blairlogie, then up the hill and at the T-junction, turn left, then about 200 yards and car park is on your right at the top of the hill).

We'll head up the Tourist path - which has been conveniently flattened and smoothed over - still has a few steep bits but the majority of it is terribly boring now. Once at the fence line, it does get much more technical.

Ride down will follow most of this route but likely to take in a small detour - for those who have the legs and are keen - they can head down Witches Craig, the rest will head back to the cars - Witches Craig descent is very good but will mean a bit of a climb back to the cars.

Meeting at the top car park at 10:30.

Hope to see you there!
